“In 2016 we decided to build a little cottage in our backyard in Berkeley. Getting all the permits from the city was definitely no fun and we were not really looking forward to the construction and the upheaval it might cause in our lives. Boy, were we wrong! It was an extremely positive experience working with Jose and his crew on this project!

Besides being an incredibly talented master of all trades Jose was also a great communicator. He listened to our ideas, gave his own very creative input and thus made the whole process totally pain free! He diligently supervised his crew but never hesitated to "do the dirty work" himself. And after a day's work he always made sure the worksite got cleaned up so that when we came home from work we could still enjoy our backyard.

The whole project didn't take a week longer than planned. We stayed within our budget. And our new tenants can't believe what a beautiful little cottage they rented in the heart of Berkeley! ;-)​”
